Nate Really happy I bought this vinyl, this album takes you on a vacation through the valleys of your own mind, in a landscape you'll imagine through the emotions brought up by the music itself. Favorite track: Lucid Dream.

John Ponton, III This is an amazing synthesis of electronic and live instrumentation, taking a more chilled out vibe that's perfectly executed and blended together. And while everyone involved is clearly an amazing talent, this drummer is just something else. Favorite track: Ebb & Flow.

Kit Wilmans Fegradoe This record is a fantastic shake up of various electronic and instrumental styles of music. Diving deep into emotional territory without feeling too indulgent. The drums are stunning. The progressive composition style manages to surpass the listeners need to place a genre tag on it, blending many styles seamlessly. They truly spark when seen live. So catch them when they are near you... Favorite track: 1000 Pieces.

Viðrar Ský (review got glitched out r.i.p) This was worth the wait. This album manages to keep you calm, while at the same time being intricate. It's pretty creative. Favorite track: Parallelogram.

Jonathan Spratling When anyone asks you why EDM is stupid, play them this. This is how to do electronic music right. Intelligent and nuanced, not straight off the rack.

Luo is the alias of Brighton-based electronic musician Josh Trinnaman - a forward thinking experimental electronic producer and engineer who’s work has seen critical acclaim from the likes of Huw Stephens on Radio 1, Clash Magazine, Notion + more.

Having built his name as a solo performer (supporting the likes of Death Grips and Venetian Snares), Luo has now transcended into a full 4-piece live group to expand the compositions into new territories.

The album features an explosive collection of percussive sounds, arp-ing synthesisers and guitar drones, all presented via Trinnaman’s focused electronic production.

The opening track sets the tone with a beautiful ambient introduction, moving forward into an arrangement containing all the elements which are set to be featured across the rest of the album, from intricate live drums to brass arrangements and cut up vocal samples.

Moving forward through the album, tracks like ‘Octopus’ and ‘Intertwined’ showcase the incredible live drums talents of Sam Hughes, and invite the listener to indulge in the beautiful soundscapes created around such huge breaks.  

Even after numerous listens, the record is often quite difficult to place, but in the most enticing way.
